LIVE OUTSIDE Mural Production

ALYNN MAGS  recently completed the largest mural production we have ever created, and it all happened in less than 5 days! We were supposed to have 8 days,  but California Rain Storms rained us out for the first three.  We were asked to collaborate with JanSport and their 'Live Outside' campaign, to create a mural any size and any content that we could imagine. The Alynn-Mags team decided to go bigger than ever to create a piece that combined our  elements of fine art and watercolor/figure collaborations, traditional graffiti, and of course some lovely ladies! We are so honored and humbled by all the amazing support we have received with this project, and look forward to doing many more. JURNE: DIVERSION, a solo show in SF

This Friday the 20th of September, JURNE has a solo show at 1AM gallery in SF.  6th street and Howard.  Come through!

Alynn Mags in the tunnels: first pieces of 2013

2013 is starting off well.  Alynn-Mags finished a mural production in Oakland at a bus stop off of 2nd Ave. The duo were fortunate to be accompanied by the very talented, Lindsey Millikan, aka. Milli.  The three of them completed a new years mural in no time.
A week later, Lady Mags took Amandalynn (ALynn) down to the tunnels for Amanda's first spray piece.  She killed it! Mags sketched out some 'ALynn' letters, but Amandalynn filled and outlined herself.  Amazing work for a first time, the duo is getting stronger each day.  But the experience was not without some obstacles... Climbing into the creek proved to be a crisis, as the water was much higher than Mags remembered.  As soon as the ladies hopped in, water poured into their boots, freezing their feet. After hiking half a mile in a pitch black tunnel the two of them spent the rest of the time in waterlogged socks, pants, and boots.... makings of a very chilly experience, but all worth it in the end!  Here are a few pictures from their adventures.

NEKST Tribute from Alynn, Mags and Jurne

This week was a hard one.  The graffiti community lost an incredible force: NEKST. We are deeply hurt by this loss.

Our love and thoughts go out to those who knew and loved him, his family, his friends, his siblings, his crew.
